BUILD THE STRUCTURE
How you meet the hammer on the right side and guide it into the first turn determines the shape of everything that follows.

SOVIET-BASED TECHNICAL SYSTEM
FOR A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE THROW
02 / THE TECHNICAL SYSTEM
The hammer should not be forced through the throw.
When the movement is organized correctly, the body and the hammer begin to show you where the next action needs to go.
The athlete gives the hammer freedom through the hands while maintaining firm support through the feet, legs, and trunk. This balance between freedom and support creates rhythm, a wider radius, and speed that develops naturally through the turns.
01 / FIRST TURN
How you meet the hammer on the right side and guide it into the first turn determines the shape of everything that follows.
02 / SECOND TURN
The second turn preserves the structure, strengthens the connection with the hammer, and begins to build speed without losing control.
03 / THIRD TURN
The third turn brings more freedom into the movement, allows the orbit to expand, and creates space for greater acceleration.
04 / FOURTH TURN
The final turn uses the rhythm, radius, and speed already created. It should release the potential of the throw.
The Soviet school developed one of the most complete technical systems in hammer throwing.
You will learn not only which positions to reach, but why the movement works, how each turn creates the next, and how to make corrections without fighting the hammer.

03 / ONLINE COACHING
Online coaching is not just a collection of video comments.
I look at your throw as part of a larger training process: what you are trying to change, what is limiting the movement, how the correction fits your current preparation, and what should happen next.
01/ SEND
You send your throws together with the context behind them: implement weight, training phase, current technical focus, recent results, and what you felt during the session.
02/ ANALYZE
I analyze the movement frame by frame and determine where the visible problem actually begins. The position that looks wrong at release may have been created one or two turns earlier.
03/ ADJUST
You receive clear technical priorities, practical cues, and drills that fit your current training. The goal is not to correct everything at once, but to identify the change that can influence the throw most.
04/ REVIEW
We compare new attempts with the previous ones, evaluate how the movement responds, and decide whether to continue, refine, or change the correction.

04 / TECHNICAL FOCUS
Every review starts with the technical problem that matters most in your current throw.
Depending on what the video shows, we may focus on one phase or on the way the whole movement connects.
01 / ENTRY
How you meet the hammer on the right side and guide it into the first turn determines the structure of everything that follows.
02 / TURNS
We analyze the role of every turn, how one creates the next, and where rhythm, balance, or connection begins to break down.
03 / RHYTHM
The goal is not to rush the hammer, but to organize the movement so speed builds naturally from turn to turn.
04 / ORBIT & RADIUS
We look at the shape of the orbit, freedom through the hands, and the expanding radius that allows the hammer to accelerate.
05 / SUPPORT & BALANCE
We examine how the feet, legs, back, and trunk support the hammer without restricting its movement.
06 / DELIVERY
We assess whether the final turn and release use the rhythm, radius, and speed already created through the throw.
07 / LONG-TERM TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT
Across repeated reviews, we can track whether corrections remain stable from session to session and identify the next technical priority.

05 / THE COACH

I reached a personal best of 75.38 m at a body weight of approximately 90–92 kg and with relatively modest strength numbers.
I could not rely on brute force alone. I had to understand rhythm, balance, radius, support, and how every turn created the next.
I developed this understanding while training under Olympic champion and Olympic record holder Sergei Litvinov.
That experience now shapes the way I analyze technique: not as a collection of isolated positions, but as one connected movement with causes, consequences, and a clear technical priority.
I learned to create distance through movement.
Now I help other throwers understand how to do the same.
